Clarifying Concepts: Commanding the Elementals of Nature
Note from the Instructor:
In the early teachings, Samael instructs us to use the sacred instruments of each element: the sword for fire, the staff for earth, the cup for water, and the feather for air, to establish harmony and authority within Nature. As his doctrine evolved, so did his teachings. We can understand the following: to work with elementals, we must perform the rite of elemental magic, commanding the elementals of earth with a sword or a rod, those of fire with a sword, an iron rod, or an iron trident, those of air with a feather, and those of water by holding a cup of water.

24. The Hebrew letter ALEPH can replace the five-pointed Star and the Six-pointed Star.
25. The creatures of the air can be conjured with a bird's feather.
26. The creatures of the water are conjured with the cup in their hands.
27. The creatures of the earth are conjured with the staff or staff.
28. Fire creatures are conjured with the sword.

We will conclude this Lecture by saying that the Fire Elementals are commanded with the Iron Trident or with an Iron Rod. Air Elementals are commanded with an Eagle feather or any bird's feather. Water Elementals are commanded with a cup filled with water. Those of Earth, with a Sword or with a new knife.
The special kingdom of the Gnomes inhabits the Northern region. That of the Salamanders to the South. That of the Sylphs to the East and that of the Undines to the West. These four elemental hierarchies form a Cross. This is the Holy and Mysterious Tetragrammaton.

CHAPTER XIV: This chapter is dedicated to the Elementals of Nature.
Only when we learn to invoke the Gods of Nature do we learn to work with the elementals.
The Gnomes and Pygmies of Nature tremble before Coatlicue. We invoke Gob, to command and command the Gnomes of the earth.
The Vortices we have on the soles of our feet obey the power of Gob. They are commanded with the sword, with the staff.

The master does not even need to touch the plant; he can act on the elemental of it at remote distances because the elemental of the plant trembles in terror at the flaming sword of the master. The Master, just by drawing his sword, makes himself obeyed by millions of elementals at any given time.
The disciple cannot act on several elementals at the same time; he has to act on each plant elemental separately, practicing the rite of elemental magic around each plant.
The Master can command his elemental intercessor to perform certain works of elemental magic, and the intercessor will obey, for he trembles in terror at the master's flaming sword.
The disciple, as he does not yet possess the sword, does not have the power to command his elemental intercessor.
